First off—happy pride month! We hope you have the most amazing month that you spend with even more amazing loved ones! 💛

This is our first pride month celebration at the Catalog so we decided not to do anything too grand—a month-long event is already a big undertaking. That being said, the schedule we've come up with is as follows:

🏳️‍🌈 Mondays: "Throwback Monday" for LGBTQIA+ creations—feel free to submit your old creations as many times as you want throughout the whole month (mind you, though, it will be reblogged only once per week. The submission limit for the month is 5 times)

🗡️ Tuesdays and Saturdays: Prompts! We're going to post several prompts to challenge you and all you need to do is let your creative juices flow freely in any way you want! Be it animations, drabbles, moodboards and anything else you want.

🥾 June 16—22: Ask my MC/ OC about their sexual identity journey. We will post several questions, a template, which you can but absolutely don't have to use—the yapping topics are completely up to you! You only want to submit headcanons of your character's journey? Great. You want to go into detail and submit a 6k word-long fic? Incredible. A comic? Animation? Hell yes!

We believe that this part of our month-long event is a great opportunity for our incredible artists to truly focus on this particular aspect of their characters' backstory, to really think it through and go into detail, even if you're not going to share it with the rest of us—what matters is that you enjoy yourself!

📝 June 27: Favourite LGBTQIA+ creations recommendation event! This is our invitation for you to post about your favourite LGBTQIA+ creations, similarly to how our Kindness Day Event looked like! You can give a shout out old creations that you discovered thanks to the Throwback Monday reblog or brand new creations.

Throughout all of these, our regular events (WIP Wednesday and Throwback Thursday) will continue too!

SATURDAY PROMPT!

Every Saturday this pride month, we’ll be sharing a general prompt to hopefully spark some creativity, inspiration, or just give you a fun excuse to make something queer and brilliant.

And we’re kicking things off with a bang!

Because let’s be honest—not all love arrives gently. Sometimes it builds in silence, until it explodes out of you in the middle of an argument or a breakdown or a kiss that shouldn’t have happened. Sometimes it doesn’t wait for the perfect moment. It just happens.

Today’s prompt is: Angry Confession / Slipped Confession.

Maybe it's said in a fight. In the rain (ikyk). Maybe it's blurted out after one too many close calls.

With the increasing number of fanwork created by the fans in recent months, I decided to create a blog that will store the links to all of your incredible creations in one place and, hopefully, expose them to a wider audience.

Setting up the blog will take a few days but feel free to tag this blog in your old/new fics, edits, drawings, and moodboards! I only ask that you first read the Submission Guideline and include the required information in your post.

June is just around the corner, and with it comes one of our favorite times of the year—Pride Month! 🌈✨

Queer joy is revolutionary and we can’t wait to celebrate every vibrant shade of it with all of you.

While we haven’t finalized the exact event structure yet (we’re still playing around with some really fun concepts!), you can absolutely expect a space where all forms of expression are welcome and celebrated. 💘

This month will be all about spotlighting LGBTQIA content and characters—whether that means sharing your own queer headcanons, drawing your fave MC in flag-inspired fashion, or just recommending your favorite sapphic/gay/trans/etc. moment from a book.

We’ll be sharing more soon (including a schedule and prompts!), but for now: consider this your heads-up that we’re going all in for Pride Month, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you all. 🌟
