Superfood Fudge No.5 - A Floral Theme Continuing my series of superfood fudge, I decided to have a floral theme using rose and lavender flowers. These are dried, and clearly labelled with no preservatives. In traditional Chinese medicine, rose is believed to have soothing properties for the nerves and mind and it is normally used to regulate the qi and blood. Lavender is used regularly in the West to reduce tension and stress. I couldn't resist adding in some dragon fruit chia jam which I had in my fridge. Also known as pitaya, it just lent such a beautiful hue to the fudge and also gives a bit of contrast in texture. Of course this fudge is filled with superfoods such as red maca root powder, spirulina, cacao powder and cacao butter. Check out the tags so see where I get my superfoods from. It's been such a fun week coming up with my twists on the original @plantlabculinary recipe.
