If you do buy a horse what are you going to do with Milo? I know he isn't old enough to ride yet but he will be.
We're still gonna keep him and break him and bring him along and everything, he's just gonna have a new brother or sister. My mom and I both ride so we're finally at the point where we can have two horses and ride together once Milo is ready.

ANON - Its not about finding a perfect or push button horse but it is about finding one with whose weaknesses you can work with and correct to grow with the horse. In this case she learned to ride differently than this horse was trained and that makes clicking a lot harder than just needing to tune up some things - its like learning how to be horse and rider all over again. She isn't looking for perfect or push button and hazel couldn't do what she wants - she will find the best horse for her.

Dead sided/hard sided horses are one of my pet peeves.. I strongly dislike them (I mean not the horse itself just riding them and how they were trained/typically ridden). So I understand you dilemma with Lexie. Its not that you can't do things to make it better (carry a crop or stronger non physical aid or work with her on the ground until she becomes more sensitive and almost voice broke) its not that the problem can't be fixed its that its a lot of time another horse wouldn't need you to take.
These are my thoughts exactly. It's a huge pet peeve of mine, because that's not how I was trained to ride.

You can certainly horse shop for me! I am looking for a proven jumper (first and foremost) who is SOUND and correct in conformation. Would enjoy if this horse has been schooled cross-country and/or Dressage as well. 200 miles from 55106. Price range is tentative, but I don't think I could ever justify going over 7000 :)
