hands are dipped in henna. this can be seen in a lot of artwork from this time period. here's an example.

the same example shows some makeup between the subject's eyebrows. since calla is kiffar, i decided that this mark would be her clan tattoo!

i also made sure to give calla a unibrow. you can also see this in a lot of paintings from this period - it appeared to be fashionable to have a rather full unibrow. here are some more examples.

for her outfit i was heavily inspired by this image! i imagine that this might be what she would wear before the clone wars. i have ideas about how her clothing would change once she became a general. i would love to one day also draw her in some traditional dance clothing :)

Jasper - black and white

Shir - reds, crimson, rust, deep burgundy

Carrot - definitely orange ajsbdndjd and a bright carrot orange at that

Nitro - a deep yellow like turmeric or golden hour

6) Any flowers you associate with your OC?

Jasper - hyacinths

Shir - roses but specifically their thorns

Carrot - wildflowers and dandelions <3

Nitro - chrysanthemums! while i am constantly rethinking a lot of my ocs tattoos, nitros have always been consistently chrysanthemums. they represent death in a lot of cultures and nitro has always been (since his inception) in his own head about life and death

21) Any embarrassing secrets your OC demands you take to the grave but you will share anyway?

Jasper - tripped over his own feet the first time he ran into commander shade by himself

Shir - well one time he - *gets tackled to the ground and you can hear my muffled yells as i get dragged away*

Carrot - he doesn't get embarrassed ajshdhdjdj

Nitro - one time he was so tired that he put his helmet on backwards and clint (the only witness) laughed so hard, nerves thought he was hyperventilating and forced him to go to the medbay for an emergency checkup

25) The name you chose for your OC, why did you chose it?

Jasper - green jasper is one of my favorite rocks and Jasper is very into nature and the outdoors. his name honestly is probably the least thought out haha. i also just like the sound of his name.

Shir - wanted to bring some farsi/nods to Persian culture into my ocs and shir means lion in farsi. he's a very fierce character and i thought it fit well :)

Carrot - i thought to myself 'whats the stupidest fucking name i can come up with'
