2009 was the year I knew I was going to marry my childhood sweetheart. Call it insight.

We were silly teenagers in love at sleepaway camp. I was his first kiss, his first ILY. I used to doodle my signature with his last name, half knowing our summer romance wouldn't survive high school or college but I always held hope that the spark I felt with him would withstand time.

6 years later, we rekindled our romance and became attached at the hip again. 10 years later, 2 cats and a dog and a house between us, I couldn't be happier than with him. None of my daydreams or wildest fantasies could compare to when he dropped to his knee, the sweetest nervous look on his face (as if I've ever been able to say no to that gorgeous face), and asked me to be his wife.

Not a super huge list since I took care of a good chunk last weekend ~

Clear kitchen table

Organize cabinets/dishware

Sweep all floors

Mop all floors

Sweep patio of

Repot patio plants

Put together yard decor

Im talking the classic black low, kitten heel with mid-calf lace ups!!!! Oh im faint.

I think i finally have all the pieces for my modern witch aesthetic I have always wanted.

Fuck that song hits so hard

fiancé and i took a nap after work and i woke up before him. I ordered pizza for dinner and thought it would be sweet to present it to him when he woke up.

2 minutes before the delivery came -

he walks into the kitchen to say he ordered us mexican food for dinner.

The two delivery drivers from different companies pulled up at the same time.

They were confused. We were mortified. The dog was barking and nearly skidded out the front door. it was chaos.

It's honestly such a chore to just mass move everything when all my stuff already exists here. i wanted to do it for blog aesthetic reasons but maybe all i truly needed was an updated pinned post that I liked and tbh that's much less work than a whole ass new blog. and frankly, everyone already knows me here, all my followers are already here - maybe I was caught up in the whole New Move New Me period that I thought a new blog would help me feel more creative but all its done is cause me stress to maintain. i always said i didnt have the time for multiple blogs, but now i have 4 and thats 3 too many. Keeping the killercook and captains-deck blogs alive even though I'm hardly using them either but those are at least fun because its curating Kid and Killer's aesthetics - not just my own. So yeah, thats my update! If you suddenly see @swampstew-stories as deactivated, its true, i killed it!
