Im not saying this to put anyone down but it does feel a little bit funny when people equate Javert’s devotion to The Law to a devotion of Justice. There is a subtle difference to me.

Maybe *he* thinks he is Just but the whole point is that it kind of isn’t and you’re not supposed to think he was completely correct#Even he himself comes to this realization later on#And I say this as a Javert fan#The Law isnt always the same as Justice#Especially not the law they had back then#rather random#Javert#Thats what makes him so tragic to me yknow#Justice and Law is like.
