This vegan dessert is a delicious mix of the rich, creamy flavors of raw chocolate and the sourness of fresh raspberries. These slices are simple to make and a great way to satisfy your sweet tooth without feeling bad about it.
Ingredients: 1 cup almonds. 1 cup dates, pitted. 1/2 cup raw cacao powder. 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted. 1/2 cup fresh raspberries. 1/4 cup maple syrup. Pinch of salt.
Instructions: Pulse almonds in a food processor until they are very small. Chocolate powder, dates, coconut oil, maple syrup, and salt should all be added. Mix it until it turns into a sticky dough. Spread the dough out evenly in a square baking dish that has been lined with parchment paper. Put fresh raspberries on top of the dough and gently press them in. Freeze for one to two hours, or until firm. Take it out of the freezer when it's set and cut it into squares or bars. You can serve it right away or put it in the fridge for up to a week.
