Allotments are traditionally created in bits of land that are hard to use for anything else.
Ours is on a strip of land alongside a railway line. It’s almost a cliche.
The trains pass by regularly and overhead power lines run over head. Both creating noise from time to time.
Mean while we beaver away at our work trying to get things done before inclement weather cuts in.
