so little context.

while I was sick I started watching One Piece, and I started thinking of a One Piece Pokemon crossover, which had the Subway bosses as Pirates with their own Devil Fruits. was kind of to much to work with so I didn't go anywhere with it.

but then I thought what about just devil fruits in the Pokemon World? it offer some crazy transformations with the Zoan (the ones that lets you turn into animals)

and then for fun I added it to my AU

They had to keep pressing the advantage. This was the closest they had got to defeating it. They could hear their sibling call out their name, shouting over the storm around them. They would not let the monstrosity escape. Too many had cried, had suffered and had lost. They pushed their body to find even an ounce more flame, to not relent, to defeat it!

Then they felt it. They felt their claw reach the nightmares throat. Its twisted limbs were unable to strike, no tricks left to save it from the wrath that burn alongside the flames. Dialga’s sacrifice would not be in vain. They heard Zekrom cry out in pain, but they could not afford to lose this moment. They drew on all their strength, all their courage and they tore. Tore its’ throat without grace, without calm, only with hate.

“Die pathetic creature! Haunt this world no more! We win!”

They slumped. Exhaustion catching them. Their head hung low. But triumph surged in their veins. And as they heard the last life gurgled out of its’ throat, they looked up into its eyes.

“Re…Resh?” The voice croaked one final breath. Reshiram froze unable to do anything but watch the light vanishing from Zekrom’s eyes.

Impossible!

They were just behind them!

They were fighting alongside each other!

Reshiram let out a roar of pain. They reached out; the blood of their sibling dripping from their hands, and they cradled them. When? How? They didn’t understand. They couldn’t process it. They just wept, their dying kin embraced in their arms.

“Where? Who? Why?” With the sound of breaking glass, a voice called from behind them, mocking them by its very existence. “Family hurts. Hurts each other. Where is my family? Who is my family? Why does it hurt?”
