Not very far in but I decided to draw Raquna Sheldon

Samus is doing her thing, she's in deep space, flying around and stuff. She receives a distress signal, and proceeds to follow it, finding herself at at the YGGDRASIL space station. The minute her ship lands, the power is drained from it. Odd, but she steps out to figure out what's up. As soon as she sets foot outside the ship, the power in her suit begins to drain, in moments she's unconscious. She wakes to a Metroid Universe version of Simon, who has just finished upgrading her suit to withstand a parasite that's absorbing all the power in the ship. Her suit now runs of Temporary Power units, or TP. But there isn't enough to keep all her suit's functions running. Simon and his lab assistant, Arthur, explain the situation. YGGDRASIL is a research station researching animals on a near by planet. A large parasitic monster that they had been researching had started absorbing the ships power via a electric miasma, which is why Samus and her ship were effected. Simon and Arthur were working with their two security personnel, Frederica and Raquna, to try to pass through the bio-dome's stratums to reach the parasite and eliminate it, and could you Samus's help. Along the way, they can convert the exothermic power (or EXP) dropped by enemies to upgrade their TP reserves and their capabilities. Exploring the labyrinth of these stratums would take place from a first person metroid prime type perspective. Suit upgrades found would factor into solving puzzles and giving Samus new attacks. The party would consist of Samus, Simon, Arthur, Ricky and Raquna, and they could bring monster parts back to a friendly AI that manufactures their equipment to create new stuff. Another AI would give missions that would allow research of the monsters and environment in the stratums. Along the way, Space Pirates might invade the station, run by a mysterious sword wielding human (Ren) and her psychic/psionic friend (Tlachtga). Geomagnetic poles would be elevators that Simon and Arthur were able to restore power too. Everyone would remain the classes they were originally but with a scifi spin. Raquna would have a suit of power armor. Simon would have sci-fi medical tools. Arthur would utilize gloves that let him wield plasma, ice beam technology, and wave beam technology. Ricky would have sick lazer guns. Atlus. Nintendo. One of you guys should hire me to help you put this together.
