not my photo but: why do mons meg look so much like they're rallying an army of the dispossessed to storm the bastille in this picture specifically?
slap some cockades on them and call it a day
honestly thought I'd posted this at the time but. really liked this photo from the dance event in Oxford.

I HAVE GOTTEN TO DO SO MUCH DANCING THIS WEEKEND I FEEL WONDERFUL. And much of it was a celebration of someone well-known in the dancing community. We got to celebrate with morris dancing around mid-day and then we did folk dancing in the evening! FRIDAY WAS WONDERFUL TOO THOUGH. I FINALLY GOT TO LEARN THE SALTY DOG RAG. I've been wanting to learn that dance for about a year, but had never gotten the chance to learn. So I just observed, which made my quick training "session" really quick. But for the first time, I got to do it! The salty dog rag is so much fun and I'll probably try to teach it to all of my non-dancer friends too now. Also on Friday evening, I learned how to do back flips for rapper! It was surprisingly easy. I thought for sure I wouldn't be strong enough to propel myself backwards, but apparently I didn't need much strength because I did it! And it was easy! Maybe I just had a good instructor though. Thanks, Hez.
