SUPACELL has some worthwhile aspects (including excellent acting throughout), but its brutal treatment of its female characters, including but not limited to the essentially slow-motion fridging of the Adelayo Adedayo character, is extremely distasteful and hard to overlook. (The show brutally murders four Black women, three of them with really disconcerting callousness, and repeatedly threatens another with sexual violence.)
UPDATE: Supacell has been renewed for another season.
