Flexible Accumulation

When you take a look at the tags on your clothes or other products it usually says made in China or made in Bangladesh or some other countries on the other side of the world. Why is that, why are products made by companies based in the U.S. or other developed countries manufactured in smaller and less developed countries?

The reason for this trend is rapid accumulation, a strategy used by large companies to maximize their profit. These companies outsource their jobs to smaller and less developed countries where the workers have little to no rights, because of that, workers can be forced to work extensive hours and be paid very little. Consequently, the company will see an increase in revenue because of cheap labor, lower taxes, and less environmental regulation.
