asddgjhfgkhl  YOU  HAVE  BAD  OPINIONS.  i’m  KIDDING  that’s  totally  valid  and  i  feel  like,  were  d&d  more.......  idk  how  to  say  this.  were  they  more  invested  in  actual  character  motivation  and  how  actions  affect  a  person’s  development,  rather  than  just.  having  characters  just  do  things  without  much  explanation,  that  would  be  a  really  valid  reason.  i  personally  view  arya  as  struggling  with  her  identity  after  the  faceless  men  and  after  her  entire  journey  as  a  whole,  too?  bc  she’s  been  called  SO  MANY  names  for  the  most  influential  years  of  her  life,  too  many  for  me  to  list  off  in  this  little  tangent. and  literally  being  called  no  one  DEFINITELY  doesn’t  have  the  best  of  effects  on  a  developing  young  girl’s  mental  state!!  but  since  d&d  apparently  don’t  like  digging  that  deep  into  a  character’s  motivations,  i  doubt  that  will  be  the  reason?  also,  even  though  we  were  sidetracked  by  the  faceless  men,  who  arya  really  only  turned  to  because  things  looked  pretty  bleak  for  house  stark---  there  was  no  one  to  run  to,  robb  was  dead,  jon  was  gone,  she  thought  bran  &  rickon  were  dead,  and  sansa  was  either  in  king’s  landing  or  missing,  her  entire  character  has  been  motivated  by  reuniting  with  her  family.  especially  in  the  books.  she  doesn’t  throw  away  needle  because  it  connects  her  to  home.  and  the  knowledge  that  jon  was  alive,  reclaimed  winterfell,  and  was  named  king  in  the  north  is  the  one  thing  that  stops  her  from  just  going  to  king’s  landing  and  killing  cersei.  idek  if  this  made  sense,  but  while  i  completely  agree  that  that  is  a  VERY  valid  reason  for  arya  to  be  alienated  from  winterfell  &  her  family  enough  to  never  return,  i  think  d&d  have  something  else  planned  with  that  line.
