The funniest fucking thing to me is that all throughout the books Halt is constantly like “ooooh an old gray rot like myself”, and “ooooh I’m so fucking old” and meanwhile he’s like 34 in the first book? I feel like that says a lot about how he perceives himself lol.

I love how Alyss also raises her eyebrow, and Will is like 'Why does everybody always do that?' In book six, I noticed Alyss did that, when she meets Delia, but maybe she did it earlier?
