I came up with these ideas while reading a post here on tumblr that was like "pick a sentence, feeling and trope", but I'm stupid and I didn't reblog and I refreshed the page... just know that these are not mine.

GUYS, THE OLD TROPE OF SOMEONE HAVING A RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF WEAPON STASHED, BUT ITS MAGIC SO THE CHARACTER GETS TOLD TO PUT DOWN ALL WEAPONS AND THEY ARE LIKE:"I'm literally never without a weapon," summons weapon "See?"
Guard or whatever:"Then deplete your magic"
"..."
"So you want me to summon weapons until i physically exhaust myself to the point i cannot summon weapons anymore?"
Guard or whatever:"Very much yes"
And so they summon weapon after weapon and after a while they get bored and summon other things they can summon and after a giant haul of shit, they are holding on for dear life and the guards let them through until they realize
"Oh wait! I got a pocket knife right here, uh-" but the guards are already gone
Bonus when the tiny pocket knife comes back later and the villain or whatever is like:"Urg the guards are sloppy"
And they say:"Actually they were very persistent, but the knife got completely second priority because I had to summon so much shit, I forgot myself!"
A modern version of a horror movie idea:
people moving into this cheap house knowing full well that it’s haunted entirely stated on the listing and everything. they decide to live there regardless and try to survive everyday and also low-key trying to convince the ghost to atleast help with the bills like “flickering the lights?! Do YOU HAVE LIGHT FLICKERING MONEY?!?? That’s what I thought Edward the 17th turn them back off.”
“No Janet that’s just the ghost demon girl. Sometimes she makes the walls bleed but there’s a pool so”
So I have started really liking this trope: person A who is calm and collected and person B who is usually really extraverted is now really sad for some reason and person A who has never really interacted with B but has watched them from afar a couple times try’s to do every little thing to cheer them up but anonymously does it so person B has to try to find out who the anonymous person who keeps leaving like small flowers on their desk or wrote a nice little note to them is
