Musings of a Ranni Simp
To the stars, I bid you farewell. For in all the glow of the night sky, no matter how many numbers you find in your Infinity, you'll never shine as bright in my eye. Sitting center stage only one body commands the spotlight.
But to the moon, oh to the moon. Still you shine even against the brilliance of the Sun. When all the other celestials have fled. You, on the days where I need you most, remain. And on the days where it is to much and even you need rest I mourn. For the sun lit sky is so dull with out you there. And like a lost mutt I wait for you to shine again.
Many know you and you are far from unloved. But fewwer of us still know the real side of you. And where there are those fear you, I embrace. That side is as cold and unforgiving as they say. But not without reason. It is the side you hide after all, for you can't let them see the imperfections, the cracks that expose your inner workings.
But as I embrace you I can see it. This may be your dark side, but in this moment you shine brighter then even the sun. And I know then that I shall,
forever more,
be your consort eternal.
