yes, sure. you can follow this tutorial, let me know if everything worked. and to upload the gifs on tumblr, do this:
in the html of your theme, click on the engine icon and go to theme assets:
this window will open, click on add file, select the gif you want to upload, then they will appear on the list (30.gif)
now, in the script you pasted on the theme, you can click on the name of the gif you uploaded and open on a new tab, copy the link and add as the tutorial said, or you can go to myimages[1]="image1.gif" in the html, select only image1.gif, and then click insert on the window where the gif is. the url will be placed there and it’s done, same thing

How do you make the sidebar images change in your themes? I've tried and either I'm not finding the right place in the code or I'm just really stupid and can't figure it out. Sorry to bother you!
hi rou’re not stupid, it’s just my theme i use a div where i use the sidebar image, so, you will have do this this:

okay, it’s pretty easy it’s just a script i put in the html. you just have to:
go into the customise html bit of your theme, find the bit that says something like and delete it
copy this script and paste it exactly where that ^^ was. (also take out the little bit that says:
This free script provided byJavaScriptKit
 bc it’s just annoying text)
then you gotta upload all your gifs to somewhere. you can have as many as you like (i think i have six?). i just put them in my drafts usually, then right click on one and copy link address, and paste the links to each seperate gif into the bit of the code that says myimages[X]="imageX.gif"
and that’s it you’re done yay. c: idk how coherent that was so if you need any more help let me know

Antes de começar a seguir o tutorial eu recomendo que você salve uma cópia do html atual do seu theme. Não são em todos que dá certo (em 99,999% funciona) e links colocados no lugares errados podem alterar tudo.
Esse scrip que deixa colocar várias opções de sidebar serve para colocar tanto imagens quanto gifs.
É no lugar desse "image1.gif", "image2.gif" e etc que você vai colocar o link das fotos/gifs da sua futura sidebar. Para isso, escolha as fotos/gifs que você quer colocar e vá hospedando uma por uma aqui. Quando você tiver terminado de hospedar a foto/gif nesse link que eu te dei, ele vai ter dar uma url nova, assim:Â
Então basta você copiar essa url nova (que você acabou de gerar) e colá-la no lugar do "image1.gif" do código antigo que já lhe foi dado. Desse modo:
Então, comece indo na sua página de customização do tumblr onde está o seu theme (www.tumblr.com/customize/SUA-URL) e abra o html dele. Nós queremos achar onde está o código que define a sua sidebar então aperte Ctrl+F em seu teclado para abrir uma caixinha de busca.
E agora digite dentro dessa caixinha de busca esse código:
<img src="{image:sidebar}">
Observe que essa parte do seu theme vai ser localizada.
Preste atenção a partir de agora, muita atenção. Apague APENAS E TODO esse <img src="{image:sidebar}"> do seu theme. Não apague mais nada, apenas isso.
Feito isso, volte no código onde as sua foto/gifs estão hospedadas e copie aquele código todo e logo em seguida cole-o nesse espaço onde tinha o <img src="{image:sidebar}"> que você acabou de apagar. E está feito. Se você apertar agora em "Update Preview" você poderá ver um pouco como os seus gifs estão funcionando. Mas vamos dizer que assim como eu, você reparou que ficou isso debaixo dos seus gifs:
E apague tudo isso que está destacado e salve. Pronto! Agora sim você tem uma sidebar cheia de fotos/gifs diferentes, que mudam toda vez que você atualiza a página.Â
