hi, i am not saying this from a place of hate but moreso constructive criticism. a couple of your posts have sounded like they were written with AI or at least partially written with AI. if that is the case can you be transparent if you have sampled things from chatgpt or other AI software? it's important to be transparent about that sort of thing especially if you are publishing a book. again no hate :)
Hi anon,
I do not use AI though I’ve been met with this comment a lot.
My book is fully written by me and edited by my husband.
It’s important to remember that AI learned off actual people, and a lot of the content from my book has been taken from blog posts of mine that existed before AI.
Apparently it’s the way I talk with validating phrases and how I try to explain things. And the bolding and headings which come from me writing a book the way I like to read them. I find them less overwhelming that way. And a certain level of me trying to sound ‘polished’ for official publishing.
It’s exhausting. And anxiety inducing. And I’ve spent about a year on this book and I’m terrified to publish it because of comments like this.
I’ve been going back and forth on publishing and no hate to you, but this is definitely making me go back on wanting to publish all over again. I don’t know how to cope with the fact that the way I write books sounds like AI. And I’m so anxious about the hate I might get if my book goes to people that haven’t followed my blogs to know it’s really just how I am.
