How far in the future is the narrator of LOTGH?
In the beginning of the ova the narrator says:
They also say things such as:
Which raises the question of just how far in the future the narrator is from the events of the ova.
For the then galaxy to be a "tiny island of space" now, it means humanity has expanded massively which requires A LOT of time.. I know it's fiction but it surprises me how detailed the events that take place during the ova are described for the narrator to be speaking from such a far future..
It makes me wonder about the order of the universe in the narrator's time.. did the Empire and the Alliance merge? did a new government emerge? is the universe finally at peace? (hopefully)
Maybe this is a little more explored in the books (I haven´t read them..).
Also sorry if my writing is off, English isn't my first language.
Okay but don't tell me they aren't cyuuute watching President Bartlet's third State of the Union address together...
And then:
Joey Lucas shows up and Donna's body language does a total 180 (!!!)
Gotta love Hank's warning expression after Logan's "What the hell is that?", he's had enough of people making fun of him.
Hey, it's that meme cat!

Okay, look, I know the point was probably to unite the period and location by playing a well-known song like Stop! In the Name of Love in French (and I can overlook one occurrence, but putting an Arabic I Ran in Apocalypse makes it a thing), but actually it's just making you look like a bunch of dumb Americans who think all other places' cultures are imported from English-speaking places. Come on, these countries have their own music, try and use that. Expand our horizons!
I like Logan for being tough without being a cliché. He says "thank you", he freaks out when Erik causes the plane some turbulences and tells Erik to clean up the chaos he caused with that.
I love this shot, even if it's a bit hard to see.
