"Neon Glittery... hmmm...
I stumbled across Neon Glittery in the "suggestions" that G+ had attached to me to consider adding to my circles... I.m not sure what to make of her works... so I offer up the links with a commentary that should not be taken as critical of her art but rather critical of my self-absorption....
...Still... maybe it is my age... after all I am a useless old wreck and twice her age... and can easily be accused (as all "old hippies" are) of not being able to see the art of her art... that I am out of tune with today. [An aside-- tell me are you tuned into today? WTF!]...
...or maybe it is because once I risked too much and fell headlong into an abyss of my own making. now, having crawled out inch by inch over 25 years ... wiser but horribly scarred [and stripped of my girlish laughter!].... and marked with many colored letters I am...
left numb... unable to tell the tale of the fall and the slag piles coherently...
...yet my art seems to be all for naught.... because Art cannot grow in isolation... it is a garden that needs the wind and the flowers and the stars... the hard pavement and old brick lofts and maybe some fairy dust... of friends and competitors... honest laughter and heart-felt tears... and the twist and spin of synaptic pulses going places making connections they have not made previously. so... maybe she speaks of all of the things I lost and can no longer comprehend... In that looking at her work has cause some self examination and introspection, her art can be deemed successful and good... or maybe I am falling through reality again and it is only an allusion to understanding I am:
betrayed again by cerulean eyes"
