Hi I really liked your post about the lightsaber techniques! I'm new to the site and just made a blog, can you recommend some more Star Wars blogs for me to follow? I love all the characters and support any ships, but there's a special place in my heart for Rose, Finn and Kylo (Ben). I want to keep an open mind. Thanks :D
Hi there! Thanks so much, I’m glad you enjoyed the lightsaber post (I literally just posted another meta on Rey, Kylo, and Finn in TFA that it sounds like might be of interest to you, so check it out if you like).
So I tend to only follow other Reylo blogs (this is leftover care from very early days in the ship when we got a lot of hate outside of our own little circle; maybe not necessary any more). ANYWAY that said, some of my favorites are @toawaterfowl - great reblogs and always good additions to posts, @roxannepolice and @clairen45 also great for reblogs and additions. @sleemo is fantastic for general Star Wars stuff but I think she’s still on hiatus 😞 Honestly if you follow those three you’ll find other new blogs to follow very quickly!
You need to be a bit careful with Finn-oriented blogs, because some of them are negative about Kylo/Ben (boo!). @luminouspeanutgallery is good for drama-free FinnRey and @finnweappreciate for general Finn stuff; @respect-for-finn posts a lot of nice FinnRose stuff.
Finally, don’t be afraid to not follow / unfollow or block people you see being negative. You don’t have to participate in discourse, either. Try to stay positive and curate your own experience. Have fun!!!!
