idk how to use this app right
I’m bothered that most if not all of my text posts are me asking for help but getting an outsider opinion is kind of part of the reason this is here so here we go.
My sister is leaving in August to begin discernment with the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (an order of sisters devoted to works of charity). I am immensely proud of and happy for her but the thought of her leaving so soon hurts. We’ve been together through so much, we’re only two years apart and people swear we could pass as twins, we’re so close. We do everything together but this is something I can’t do with her.
I don’t feel called to the religious life. I want to have a family. She definitely feels called to this.
Somehow my pictures of the future always seemed to include us moving out together, sharing an apartment till we (or I) met someone and got married. And now that she’s leaving for up to four years’ discernment... it just feels like I’m being left behind.
I want to be happy for her, to not feel near-tears every time I think about her leaving but I can’t seem to change that feeling. I can’t find any positives to her leaving either and I’m sure it would help if I could. Beyond getting the room to myself and de-cluttering it a bit, I can see no positive to her leaving. She’ll be able to chat, via phone, IM or video chat of some sort, but it won’t be the same as having her there as a support for anxiety and stress and whatever else I might need help with. I feel... vulnerable without her.
I know I’ll come out of my shell, start to do things I want to do and begin to make my own path in life instead of following hers... I just wish it were easier to start.
Tomorrow is the Balloon Fiesta, and that can only mean one thing: I'm going to be treated like a princess all day~ Bow to me~ ;w; *insert Aku no Musume here*
I actually really want to try Gyaru fashion owo I'm thinking Hime Gyaru. I might actually buy an outfit from Yumetenbo/DreamV~

The book that made me cry a bucket. The genre of the book is the same as the TFIOS! The books are "If I Stay and the sequel "Where She Went". I'm very excited about the movie coming on august, I hope it will not disappoint. I give #Gayleforman two thumbs up for the said book. I recommend you guys to read it. It's about love of course but to know when to let go or hold on or when to jut walk away and when to look back. There are other books written by Gayle Forman that you should read "Just One Day and its sequel "Just One Year" both are really good books. #ramblingagain nerdsideofme #readtitguys 📖❤👍
The perfect night: Eating blueberry muffins and tons of snack food together while watching Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along-Blog (or some other awesome movie like the Lion King) then staying up way too late playing multi-player and co-op video games. Tonight I have blueberry muffins fresh from the oven, the movie cued up on my laptop, and my PS2 hooked up to the TV. All I'm missing is someone to play with. Some day my stupid little "dream night" will come true, just not tonight.
Appreciation
I just realized, I should be more appreciative of my past. Yeah, I'm not some well known cosplayer, or writer, or any kind of crafter, but my cosplay photos, my writings, and my crafts are still getting recognition; Years after they've been posted even.
On my deviantART, I still log on to find I have people finding and faveing my work. Strangers browsing the category and finding things I've made or my gallery entirely and liking things because they designate them as "Good"!
So thank you strangers! I appreciate your designation!
