We are on Capitol Hill today asking Congress to support #onefairwage (a part of @roc_united #raisesummit). Seven states who have One Fair Wage have seen workplace sexual harassment cut in half. When you pay women a fair wage, they have the opportunity to stand up to harassment. When the federal minimum wage for tipped workers is $2.13 an hour, women and other minorities are asked to tolerate inappropriate behavior from customers who are compensating their tipped wage.
