The Rainbow Megamix Mini Project has been going officially for a week now and it keeps growing with each show looking incredible, the rainbows flying during All This Time and SIBWAWC. Every volunteer reports how excited people are to wave their rainbows during those songs and the flags are always gone incredibly quickly, giving them a rush of excitement and happiness seeing them fly high after.
The project has already been an amazing success, but we still need your help!
We have one show that as of now does not have any volunteers to help pass out flags that we will send to you! If you are attending the show in Hollywood, Florida and are willing to be of assistance, please let us know! You can find all of the up to date volunteer information here, and if you're willing to volunteer for any of the other upcoming fitfwt shows, please reach out. We would love to have you! Thanks again!

FITF MINI PROJECT :: RAINBOW MEGAMIX :: NORTH AMERICA
Hello friends! After sneaking in and handing out approximately 300 rainbow flags in Columbus, it has been decided that we want to KEEP IT GOING (as Louis says during SIBWAWC).
We started this blog as well as a Twitter and IG (with a TikTok also coming soon!) to help spread the word through the entire fandom, and over the coming days we will be posting all of the information and updating it as best as we (@lululawrence and @londonfoginacup) can in order to keep everything as current. This post will also act as a masterpost to help you find all the information you might need as we go.
π How you can help: To start, help us spread the word! Follow our accounts and share the posts to get word out there, and keep checking back for updates. We need to move fast to make sure we can get everything ready in time! Our goal is to officially kick things off in Milwaukee on the 13th and have every show after participate in Rainbow Megamix!
Thank you! We'll be back soon with more details!

And the Rainbow Megamix continues tonight! Weβve had such a great first week of the mini project and we are incredibly excited to see it continue in Sioux Falls. There will be.. many hundreds of flags that @jaerie (and hopefully one or two othersβ¦) will be handing out in the hopes of making the venue an absolute sea of rainbows! Despite having more flags than weβve been able to hand out at a single venue before, she wonβt have enough for everyone, so if you do have your own flag you can bring, please do so!
Letβs keep the momentum going and keep the flags waving high!
If you can't read about Red Rocks, even without many details, then please take care of yourself and skip this post. The rest will be under a read more.
tl;dr: We hope everyone is safe and cared for now and getting the continued help they need after that experience, it's time for the rest of us that are able to pick up our rainbows and keep the project going strong.
As someone who was at Red Rocks and is still trying to process it all, I just want to reach out to everyone else who was also there and give you a big hug and say I'm sorry. There was a lot that happened that shouldn't have, a lot of pain that was caused, and lasting memories we would rather not have made instead of a night of joy, catharsis, and unity with an artist whose music we love in an incredible and iconic venue. It was a bucket list experience for many of us, and instead we were left with... that.
As I've been reflecting the past few days over not only my own experiences but those of friends and even strangers here on Tumblr, I have been struggling with figuring out where I go from here. Red Rocks was meant to be my last show and a way of going out with a bang for this tour. We gave away around 1000 rainbow flags in the venue and there was genuine excitement to see how that looked when the time came.
Instead, I had to walk past many of those flags piled with the hailstones and water under the first row of seats as I tried to make my way to the stage for cover in case another round of hail came.
I might need to go a little slower on the social media side of this project as I recover from that, but I still want this project to continue. I want the rainbows to still be waved during the megamix and see the colors and pride and safety that I feel every time I see a rainbow flag waved high during Louis' show. It is a comfort to me to know they're there every time. To know that I am welcome exactly as myself. It's one of the only times I can feel free and safe to do that, and it means a lot to see it even at the shows I can't attend.
So. I just wanted to say that I am so truly sorry to all of you who attended Red Rocks and experienced that too. I hope you are all able to heal physically, emotionally, and mentally from your experiences and that you have the support you need as you do so.
For the rest of you, I'm really hoping you're still ready and willing to help out at these upcoming shows, because we've still got rainbows coming for you! Check out our masterpost by date here, and let us know if you're able and willing to help us out as well.
Let's get those rainbows dancing again, and let's start with Seattle!
Louisβ final show of the NA leg is tonight in NYC and Rainbow Megamix is ready to party! Our volunteer has the flags ready to hand out at the venue, but there wonβt be enough for everyone. If you can, please bring your own and get ready to wave them high during All This Time and SIBWAWC before we turn to Europe and hope they also βkeep it going!β
Please also share your photos and videos and tag us so we can celebrate the rainbows with you!
