There will always be people behind your success - and you should always be thankful for them. (Photo source)
I messaged her on Multiply October 31, 2008! haha. Please do not judge =))
Back in high school, we were asked to make web pages as projects for our computer subject. I was really excited, with my knowledge in Photoshop and my making layouts for friendster and all. The only problem I faced back then was that I did not know how to make codes outside of friendster, and after countless attempts at googling how to make a web page, I finally struck luck. I honestly don't remember who "Vicki" was (see above) but I am thankful nonetheless. It was because of her that I found Kaila of eerie-silence.net. I got amazed at how simple and cute her layout seemed, and after some clicking I discovered that she had tutorials. To make the long story short, her tutorial taught me how to create a web page from scratch using notepad. I learned about slices, div, image hosting and all those stuff from her. After stalking all her online accounts (heh) she instantly became an inspiration. And until now, I can safely say she still is. :)
Been wanting to taste those one-of-a-kind Japanese chocolates (you see on tumblr, or somewhere else similar) with the cutest packaging in the world? If you’re lucky (or “hardworking”) enough, you might just win this box! Just follow the simple contest mechanics and I am going to have the box shipped to you.. wherever you are in the globe. ^^ (Source)
Also, she's having a contest at the moment! You can check out her blog for more details. Thank you Kaila! You will never know how much your site helped me. God Bless and continue inspiring many! :)
