The sky is draped in silver-gray,

Soft clouds drift and fade away.

A hush before the first drop falls,

Then whispers echo through the halls.

The rooftops dance in rhythmic tune,

A melody beneath the moon.

Puddles shimmer, rivers weave,

As leaves embrace the tears they grieve.

The air is thick with earthy scent,

A gift from skies so kindly lent.

Windows mist with stories told,

Of secrets shared and hands to hold.

Beneath the storm, the world unwinds,

A moment’s pause for restless minds.
