this was gonna be for something longer but i lost interest lol, also fyi, I can't see canon Raiden dating Shang Tsung, so this is for some AU where Shang ain't evil (still mischievous tho lmao) and Raiden would date someone at all

- These two have basically been like an old married couple for centuries... because they are lol
- They aren't even technically in a married relationship, and only recently has Shang finally gotten Raiden used to introducing the smug sorcerer as his significant other.
- These two bicker and bark and fight a lot but would die for one another (At least I hope Shang would do the same for Raiden, because despite what Raiden may say, he WOULD die for Shang)
- Although they fight a lot with varying degrees of seriousness, at the end of the day, they can usually be found with Raiden sitting down, and Shang Tsung in his lap, probably whispering sweet nothings in some language long lost to time
- Raiden loves when Shang dresses up for him, which Shang does a lot but Raiden doesn't get tired of it. He especially loves when Shang Tsung pulls him away somewhere private, shows off some new fancy dress he bought, and asks Raiden if he'd like to dance.
- Shang doesn't like to admit it, but oh does he turn into a blushing melty mess of f e e l i n g s inside when he sees Raiden lift something heavy, mf Shang acts normal on the outside, but on the inside? Swooning schoolgirl
- Raiden doesn't really feel any physical attraction to Shang (I mean in an objective way shoa, he finds Shang very appealing) but he's very emotionally attached to the man. He doesn't know what he'd do without his favorite weasely sorcerer
