Music is the heartbeat to our society. It has to power to move people, make them think, or even make them stand and fight for something. The influence that music has on the youth is undeniable. It has the power to bring out something in people, things they may not have known was there before. It acts as a voice for those without one, a leader for those who need direction, and a teacher for those who who are ignorant. See, when you understand the power of what "MUSIC" is it's your responsibility as an artist to use it properly. Because just the same way it can be used to guide or teach, it can use to mislead or corrupt. That's why with every record I release I try and push a message. Put something on my listeners minds for the positive. See artist these days will tell you all about the prize but never the consequences. Half of these dudes never did any of the things they speak on in records. Yet they fill your heads with that bullshit of breaking the law, killing, doing drugs etc. like it makes them real. That shit ain't real. What's real is helping your people progress and not holding them back. Artist now a days are the leaders. People follow their words in the same way they did Malcolm and Martin's. The only difference is the way they use their leadership.
