#rage-quitting

As much as I love my dad, and as much as I wish nothing but prosperity and success for my family's restaurant, I can only stand so much.

The last thing I want to do is to be a secretary over my winter break because, "I'm an English major."

It's late, I have other things I'd rather be doing, things I HAVE to do, and it's fucking freezing downstairs. Turn on the heater? Grandma says no. Turning it on temporarily is NOT going to keep me warm the whole night, especially since I sleep next to the window. Don't blame me for YOUR grammar mistakes. Don't blame ME for not knowing how to write an appeal to the department of alcoholic beverage control. I would LOVE for your appeal to go through, or rather, OUR appeal, since I'm the one writing it, but the best of my ability can only be so good. I'm 19 going on 20, a second year in college, and a total NEWBIE when it comes to management and writing business appeals. IT'S NOT EVEN WHAT I WANT TO DO IN LIFE. So, I would APPRECIATE it if you didn't always ask me to do this for you, namely because I'm your daughter who happens to be an English major. By the way, my being an English major is poor reasoning and unjustifiable when it comes to being your secretary. I don't know what to do or how to act in business. It's one thing to be business-like, but fact is, I don't know how to run a business.

When I complain about this stuff to my sister, all she does is argue back, saying "You wanna be a voice actor? Then you should be able to do this easily. Just act like a business woman/owner. It's easy."

Yeah. Easy. Right. Why don't you do it then? Oh, you have such and such number of AP classes and all this schoolwork to do? WELL GUESS WHAT!?!? I'm in FUCKING COLLEGE, don't you tell me that you have too much work! You're not stuck in school for a whole FREAKING DAY! You're not paying for your school fees or anything. You're not worrying about being in debt after graduating. So STOP going against me because YOU don't want to do his work. Ugh.
