#rage party

So I’m not making this into a full blown story, but I had a dream where I got a job (yes, and actual legit JOB) with the WWE. Eventually one day, I was given the chance to meet Shane. Somehow I managed to keep my shit together. This is how the exchange went. Shane: Oh! So you are that new girl? Missy? That’s your name, right? Me: Yep, that would be me. Shane: Someone told me you’ve been a huge fan of mine since you were a teenager. Is that true? Me: *sheepish* yeah... it’s been a long ride. I owe a lot to you from those early days. Shane: Glad I could help. Me: *tries to NOT stare at him and look like an idiot* Shane: Okaaaay... what is it? Me: Well, after all these years, there’s just so much stuff I’ve always wanted to tell you or ask you. And right now, my brain is just static. Shane: Drawing a blank, huh? Me: Yeah. Shane:... is anything at all coming to mind? Me: Well, one thing. Shane: Shoot. Me: This may seem like a really personal question, so like, just ignore my trash ass if you want to. But, in all honesty, when you were younger... did alcohol make the ADHD better or worse? Shane: Really? That's what comes to mind?? Me: I was a Ritalin baby, I am legit curious. Shane: Well, in that case... Remember the Wrestlemania XV Rage party? Me: Yeah? Shane: Every single one of us in that building was trashed. So, take what you will from THAT. Me: *GIGGLESNORT* Shane: *Smile* Seriously, of all of the dream interactions I’ve ever had with the man, somehow, (ignoring the fact that I would never be this calm in his presence) this one seems the most realistic. I can see and hear this conversation happening and it gives me life. Sometimes, I love my dreams.
