these two pictures were taken exactly one year apart...so dang thankful.
i showed the previous picture to a (relatively new) friend yesterday, and she was shocked, as she should be, by the difference in my skin.
2018 me was fighting to recover, trying to figure out what was wrong with her body, and advocating for herself to make a change. and 2019 me is so, so thankful for her. my skin is only a small part of me that has recovered and changed...there’s so much more to be proud of. and i am.
ready for what’s to come.
pet her...bls...pet her...
on 3.11.2020, i said yes.
things that make me wonder if i was born in the wrong time

meet my new babies, Gemma and Stella, who have joined Bentley in my apartment!
Gemma is a Speedy Jenny “Baby Bunny Bellies” (tradescantia chrysophylla), which is appropriate—her leaves are fuzzy, small, and soft, with green tops and purple undersides. she will eventually spread out and become a hanging plant.
Stella is a Nerve Plant (fittonia albivenis) and is absolutely stunning in pink. like the name, she can be a bit more uptight and nervous, and will complain if not watered every seven days exactly. she also has some tiny flowers!
they are both very small cuttings off of the mama plant, but i look forward to seeing how they grow!
