You canât shame yourself into the life you want. You canât bully your way into alignment. And you definitely canât critique your way into self-love. But we do try, donât we? We think if weâre just strict enough⊠harsh enough⊠âdisciplinedâ enough⊠weâll finally be worthy. Finally be happy. Or finally feel safe. Shaming yourself might get you to start something - a diet, a plan, a morning routine but it will never carry you through. Because real change comes from devotion to your own alignment. From self-trust, and not self-control. Try this today: Notice when that old inner critic voice pops up. Pause. And offer yourself silence⊠or softness instead. As Maya Angelou said: âYou alone are enough. You have nothing to prove to anybody.â Not even to yourself. And if youâre tired of trying to improve yourself into the ground, come rest with us in Worthy & Rising - my free community for soft rebels and brave healers. We meet 3â4 times a lunation. Next workshop is The Art of Receiving đ July 24th, 11:30am CEST Itâs free, and for you, if you want. Join the community via the link in my bio, or here:
With love and rebellion, Parnuuna đ«
