August didnāt mind parties, in general, they were fun as long as he planned for them and the perfect place to meet the mostĀ āout thereā students on campus. It was the mess that he minded - the mess and the smell of sweat, lust, and alcohol.
The Splatterhouse was packed past capacity, people squeezed into every corner like sardinesĀ covered in glitter and painted neon in every color one could imagine. Heād tried the paint himself but only lasted around five minutes before he had to scrub that shit off his face. Sure, heād been well aware of the painting aspect of the partyĀ prior to showing up, but knowing and experiencing were two very different things. It turned out he was a lot less okay with being multicolored than heād originally hoped. Sure it made him stick out like a sore thumb - tall, pale, and with little more than a splotch of neon paint on his person - but at least he wouldnāt be itching to scrub himself raw the whole evening.Ā
