Oh, maybe I came on too strong maybe I waited too long. Maybe I played my cards wrong, just a little bit wrong. I could fall, or I could fly here in your aeroplane and I could live, I could die hangin' on the words you say. 

I've been known to give my all and jumpin' in harder than ten thousand rocks on the lake. Sittin' back, lookin' at every mess that I made.

So don't call me baby unless you mean it don't tell me you need me if you don't believe it. So let me know the truth before I dive right into you.

It's crazy how, my heart beats so damn loud holding on to feelings that need letting out. I could taste the words, they burn the tip of my tongue and there pushing against my lips.

Conscience ringing and I won't pick up to hear that constant, "it can't be done." But hey you, let's do what everybody swears is just too hard to. I say, we lay it all out on the table if you're with me, I'm able, let's be faithful.

I hate to ask, but hell I got to know do you see yourself hanging on long down the road? Or do you see us both hanging on to hope 'bout tangled, rope fraying on both ends. Counting on memories we stacked up to hide the truth till it caves on us.
