You were already leaning into his side, arm curled around his when he asked you.
And how could you say no to that face.
That night had been wild - full of friends and new memories that had you wishing you could remember them perfectly. Carnivals always made you feel like that. But the rides, rushes of adrenaline, and the cold night air matched with having to walk everywhere made you tired. Bokuto, being the boyfriend he was, noticed and immediately offered up his services.
So when you reached a bench, you climbed up and onto his back.
Your arms wrapped around his shoulders, legs around his waist, and you couldn't help but press yourself to his back with a hum. He was always so warm - even through his jacket.
His hands wrapped under your thighs with a pleased huff, and then he was off again - walking somewhat happier now, and headed off home.
"I like this." he said. You pressed your chin into his neck, leaning forward to see his face a little better.
"Yeah, why's that?" you asked, pecking his jaw - just because you could.
"'Cause I like being close to you." he said, sure as if it was the most obvious fact in the whole word, "This is like a hug, and we're walking. I like hugs from you."
"Aw," you cooed, "Kou, if you keep being so sweet I might cry."
"No, no tears, only happy ones." He said, a smile in his voice as he bounced you around a little. "I love seeing you happy!" he said - apparently the good mood from the night out hadn't wore off of either of you yet.
"Kou! Not so loud, you'll disturb people." you giggled, lifting a finger up to shush him, only to get it caught between his teeth in a nip, leaving you laughing again.
"I want everyone to know you're happy." he said, then took a deep breath and shouted, "Because I love you!"
You laughed again, burying your nose in his jacket collar and mumbling about getting home - "That way you can cuddle me too."
His walk turned into a run then.
