1/2 finished. Well, I actually finished a while ago. The crowds in the finish area were just too much for me and in my extreme need to sit down and get away from people, I mindlessly walked the 1+ miles back to my car.
Today's race was awful for me. I was not prepared. The heat wasn't too bad yet, but I could feel it creeping on at the end. The course was booooring. Happened almost entirely on boring highway like roads between parks, with almost no spectators. For this size race, that is just awful.
If you asked me as I crossed the finish line if I would even bother coming tomorrow, I would probably have said no. However, I've had some time now and while a tad sore and tired, I'm not too bad. So, I'll be here tomorrow. Will it be a fast race, no. Likely my slowest on record. However I want my Goofy, so this will have been worth it.
