A rare photo of the Duke and Duchess of York with their infant daughter, Princess Elizabeth (Queen Elizabeth II), in Scotland, 1926.
They were photographed by a touring young couple, whose car broke down outside the Yorks’ cottage, much to the couple’s surprise. The Duke and Duchess helped them by providing water to fill up the leaking car radiator and obliged to pose for the photograph afterwards. (x)
