The vampire waitress crouched down so she was closer to the child's height. "I work here, so it's okay to talk to me. It's my job to help." She stated with a gentle smile that skillfully hid her fangs. "You look a little lost." She continued. "We just had a bunch of people sit down. Do you want to take a look around to see if your family is sitting at one of the tables? If they're not here you can sit at the counter with a slice of pie, and the staff and I can try to find them for you."

Xeha was going to have to beat the tar out of someone. No one put a friend of hers in such a state and got away with it. First though she had to help her friend. “Rould, think you can make it up the stairs?”
