rabbit skull I glued today. I know I often enough say that I don’t like rabbit skulls, but their bone structure always makes me weak. even though bones do trigger my trypophobia(e.g. inside the crest or nose), it’s not as bad as most other things.

ferrero the wild rabbit
one of my finds from last week. rabbits are my favorite animals to work on, even though i get a little emotional every time as i have always loved with bunnies since i was seven.
at first i only aimed for the feet but i ended up getting the tail, face and most of the body / back off too, which made me really happy. the rest of his body is in the „everything-i-don’t-want-to-waste“-maceration bucket for now to get the bones.
Moss is everywhere here and skulls look amazing next to it ❤

Tried to take them out for some pictures but since I’m so used to big skulls some of them look awkward. Whoops.
Was gifted a r.abbit skull!
It doesn’t have its teeth and the back of its head is wide open but otherwise it’s pretty grand.
They are named Ichabod.
Anyone in the VC community have experience with articulating/skinning/doing anything with frozen feeder animals for reptiles? Specifically rabbits?
