I quit at almost the same time for the same reason LOL And started GFL soon after, haven’t looked back Just one example of wasted character opportunity, one of my all time favs and one of the most overlooked chars of all time: Jill from POR. Had one of the most interesting and inspiring character arcs of any minor character in the series, as well as a visually nice design. But afaik she still isn’t in the game (admittedly haven’t checked in a long time)
Lol I was looking at the subreddit today and apparently that’s the new hot topic, when is Jill gonna get added.
Funnily enough, a character I wanted to see added was Heather, from RD. I felt like she kinda got the short end of the stick with that game and hoped FeH would do a bit more for characters who kinda fell off.
But IntSys insists on- 1. Keeping characters in a limbo where they haven’t finished their arcs so they all feel static and underdeveloped to preserve spoiling each game 2. FUCKING SPOILING THEM ANYWAYS 3. Not actually doing any long form writing for the game. So in comparison to FGO or GFL, FEH feels fucking barren in each chapter and characters only show up to say “Hello! I’m here now!”

Every time i see an update for feh I wonder how...
It’s crazy to me how they systematically invalidated so many peoples’ favorite characters in that game. I had a few I put effort into but like you with eirika, they became nigh unusable
And tbh, I quit before it got too ridiculous. I wanna say it was a little after Karla came out? I saw the writing on the wall that this game was just gonna powercreep too quickly to sustain itself, And with SI being such a vital part of the game there would always be a need to pull to keep your units relevant and it just felt so scummy and gross to keep contributing to it.
