Searching in his library a evening he found something he didn’t remembered to have; a small box sealed with magic, covered by a book titled “The Corsair”. When Jack saw the title, memory got back  to him and at open it he knew what he was going to find there: A vial with blood. Taking it in his hand the redhead remembered how he obtained it.

In his last fight with Hannibal, when he was seconds to sending him away the blonde, crazy-demon marked his face with his now characteristical scar, Jack was wounded and tired but he manage to hurt him too. He keep the blood as a souvenir from his victory but not many years later his trophy became a heavy box of memories and regrets, and that were the reason why he left it there, hide behind a book he never opened.

Jack had loved him? Yes. He loved him maybe too much. At least enough to allow himself to dream with a better future, but things never came out as he expected and now…

Hannibal was out of the ying yang world again and Jack was afraid. Not because he would want revenge, he was scare of himself. Because Jack knew that, with a little of persistence of that demon and he would ends up falling again.

Because he still loved him, even after all these years.
