There are wood steps up to a grain bin door painted pink with a white faux cat on the top step And solar lights. 

And on one side of the Quonset, it’s lined with perennials, mostly pink and white peonies which are overloaded with blooms right now. This is the most feminine farm area I have ever seen and I. Love. It.

It’s also special to me because just after Charlie died last year, Bear dragged me out of the house to watch a lightning storm. And we pulled up here. It took me a minute but I came out of my grief stupor enough to ask, “Are those doors all...pink?” It made me feel better if only for a second.

I stopped here to take photos of the sunset on my favorite day of the year - summer solstice. 

It’s a pretty spot! Made even better by all the pink!
