From the Psalm-scroll of the Dead Sea Scrolls
My light shall shine forth in Thy glory. For as a light from out of darkness, so wilt Thou enlighten me.
Yet lo, on such a creature of clay hast Thou shed Thy grace, giving him Thy commandments in Thy good will.
Thou hast shaped that clay on the Wheel and passed it through Thy test, that it may find its way into Thy lot; and when cracks appear in it, Thou mendest them.
Yea, over mere dust hast Thou wafted Thy Holy Spirit, and hast so molded that clay that it can have converse with angels and be in communion with beings celestial.
Mere flesh hast Thou lit with a Light everlasting, that there be no reversion to darkness, and a Light hast Thou revealed that it never can be turned back.
Your Holy Spirit illuminates the dark places of the heart of your servant, with Light like the sun.
NEW SERIES- ABOUT CHRISTIANITY
I’ve been studying early Christianity- like before the council of Nicaea- over the past few months. In doing so, a realization has set in. Whatever dogma we think is canon is so far removed from the Ancient mysteries of Qumran that it’s not even funny.
So, it’s time to share that knowledge and give it to you good people to dissect and discuss amongst yourselves.
What we’ll be looking at is the Jewish sects that occupied Qumran- Essenes, Nazarenes, and Nazirites. We’ll be exploring scriptures that involve the dialect Yehoshua spoke, the calendars for the observation of the law that differed from the Pharisees and Sadducees and why. Then we’ll look at the mystical elements of Yehoshuas actual words as well as the apostle Paul.
From there, we’ll get into the spread of the early movement- as a mystery school not a religion. We’ll explore what the mysteries meant to the ancient world and cover some of how Greek thinking shaped the philosophy of what Evangelicals inaccurately call the early Church.
Somewhere in the mix we’ll discuss Rome, Nicaea, the destruction of the original movement and how it emerged as modern Christianity via Constantine and the Roman Empire. Followed by a bloody history that goes against everything Yehoshua taught settling into a global Faith many people despise today.
It has taken months to research and help hope it helps clear up a lot of questions people have about how the esoteric aspects of Christianity have been suppressed and why. Maybe we’ll actually expose how backwards evangelical Christianity is in the process.
Warning: if you’re a Republican Jesus Fan you’ll definitely hate everything I have to say and I would urge you to research or not read the series at all.

Qumran, Israel.
The cave the Dead Sea scrolls were found in! One day someone was chasing their goat who had ran off into these caves and the guy threw a rock in to draw it out. He heard something shatter and turns out it was a jar containing the Dead Sea scrolls. Ancient scrolls of preserved scripture that confirm A LOT of canonical biblical texts. Amen?
Waterfalls in Ein Gedi Nature Reserve, Israel
Greek geologists and Roman historians came to the Dead Sea to observe this wonder. It was Pliny the Elder who noticed an ascetic group of Jews living above the northwest shore. This is the site known as Qumran, where one of the greatest archeological discoveries of all time was made. In 1947, a Bedouin shepherd found ancient leather scrolls in a cave near Wadi Qumran. These turned out to be some of the most ancient manuscripts of the Bible we have in our possession! Almost every book of the Hebrew scriptures was copied and stored for safekeeping from the invading Romans who destroyed the settlement of Qumran in 68 CE during The Great Revolt. There were also community writings, apocalyptic texts and commentaries found together with the biblical scrolls among eleven caves in the area. A whole library of scholarship has developed around the discoveries and it sheds enormous light on Jewish groups of the Second Temple Period and the context of the New Testament.
You can reach Qumran in about 45 minutes driving from Jerusalem on the road to Jericho to walk around the excavations and see the caves. Continue driving south in order to reach Ein Gedi, where you can hike up to beautiful pools and waterfalls that spring from layers of limestone in the walls of the Rift Valley. This natural oasis attracts birds and plants species from three continents, making their annual migrations through the holy land. It also happens to be the location for an event in the Bible where David spares the life of the jealous King Saul in 1 Samuel 24.
