So a while ago I watched a video of a person explaining dragon fire, how it would actually work scientifically as a use and how that would affect the creatures biology. One of their examples of a "real life use" was via the Bombardier Beetle and it's chemical attack.
Now, I've watched this video several times and I never thought about the impactions, I was more focused on what the video was telling me... Until today. I finally realized that "wait, they tell us in the video that this beetle and its chemical attack is so loud that if you upscaled the beetle to the same size as the loudest aircraft on record at the time , it would be louder".
The beetle would be louder... So a dragon... At that size, or bigger using whatever version of fire or chemical attack would be extremely loud. I think you need ear defenders to be near that kind of plane, so could you even be near a dragon? Not even in fear of them attacking, but just the byproduct of them using their ranged attack and how loud it is.
How the heck do you deal with that???
