We have gained more than 1 degree Celcius, we are living the coldest year of the rest of our lives. It is 44 degrees outside my home, and 35 inside as I'm writing this. This year's world cup is the most polluting yet (8 million tons of CO2) because the president of the country it takes place is is a fascist who decided to make some of the teams stay in another country and travel to the matches by plane the same day. Same president is conducting a war on the other side of the world while he's genociding people of color and trans people in his country. He even gave his own armed forced 700 more billions to do so. Musk became the first trillionaire. 1 miliion seconds ago is 10 days ago. A trillion seconds ago is 30 000 BC.| Today, the difference between the richest and poorest people is greater than during the French revolution. Women in Afghanistan lost literally all their rights; they can't even go in public, speak or laugh anymore. They can't see a doctor who isn't a women, but they can't work in healthcare. There's as many wars in the world as there were during World War 2. That has never happened since.
My own government is trying to pass a law that makes manifesting against them illegal, and our left had become right while our right has become fascist. We've been manifesting since end of May, nearly everyday, and all they did was pass the laws during the night. They don't care about petitions, they don't care about manifestations and peaceful protests. They never did, but they tried to appeal to us before, so it helped. That is not the case anymore.
And people tell me I'm violent, crazy or an extremist because I'm saying we cannot let that go on and we have to forgo peacefulness, forgo lawfulness, for it to work.
