This quick and easy marinara sauce comes together in just 30 minutes, making it perfect for a weeknight pasta dinner. The flavors of garlic, herbs, and tomatoes meld beautifully to create a rich and satisfying sauce that pairs perfectly with your favorite pasta.
Ingredients: 2 tbsp olive oil. 4 cloves garlic, minced. 1 can 28 oz crushed tomatoes. 1 tsp dried oregano. 1 tsp dried basil. 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes. Salt to taste. Pepper to taste. 12 oz pasta of your choice. Fresh basil leaves for garnish. Grated Parmesan cheese for serving.
Instructions: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and saut until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in crushed tomatoes and stir in oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Once the marinara sauce is ready, taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Drain cooked pasta and toss with the marinara sauce until well coated. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves and grated Parmesan cheese.
