She was nothing short of skeptical, and she might be holding a grudge (just a little bit), but who could blame her after what Cesaria had done to Leptis? But Tebe had to put that aside. She couldn’t deny sanctuary to a woman in need, and if Cesaria had truly left the benandanti, she might be in need of their help. Not to mention she could help them too.

“You can stay, but that doesn’t mean you’ll be easily trusted here.” She had to at least be honest, didn’t she? Cesaria probably wouldn’t get a very warm welcome from anyone here, and Tebe knew that allowing her to stay here was likely to cause some tension between herself and Leptis. She would be a powerful ally though, if she was truly on their side.

                SHE’S KNOWN ALL ALONG    how this will end,  known it wouldn’t end well for her.  She’s not sure how long she’s been sitting in the interrogation room,  just waiting,  waiting to be questioned.  And she has no intention of lying,  never has.  What good will it do her,  anyway?
