"Mimikyu with QuickBall"
Alcohol Markers on Canvas.
IRL friend asked that I draw him a Mimikyu with a QuickBall, so I drew him a Mimikyu with a QuickBall! :]
Actually, it ends the battle too early...!
Best Poké Ball Tournament-
Round 1: Match 1
Quick Ball vs Gigaton Ball
Quick Ball
Gigaton Ball
Let's get Round 1 started!
The first contestant up on the block is, fittingly, the Quick Ball! A flashy Ball with a sleek design that works best on the first turn of battle. In Generation 4 when the Ball was introduced, it had a 4x multiplier on the first turn of battle, but since Generation 5, the multiplier has been 5x! It's such an effective ball that any Pokémon with a catch rate of 153 or higher are guaranteed captures with that 5x multiplier! Will being quick off the block work out well for it here too?
Contrasting the speed of the Quick Ball, we have the Gigaton Ball! It won it's Preliminary to represent the whole heavy Hisuian family of Balls, and it's another effective catching tool. It has a big catch rate multiplier of 2.5x by default, but if the Pokémon hasn't noticed the player yet, the multiplier becomes 2.75x! It can't be thrown very far, so that can be a challenge to overcome, but in battle, it always has that higher modifier- making it the most effective regular type of Poké Ball during battle in Legends Arceus.
