17!!!!
what's the oldest book you own ?
i don't know if this counts as the oldest, but it's from the early 1970s, when my father was growing up.
It's a Russian children's book, published by the Soviet Press, which used to be right next to our house. Originally written by Vladimir Suteyed, it's been translated into bangla by Noni Bhowmick.
it was such an integral part of me growing up! i have spent hours following the smol kittens on their adventure, or the brave porcupine and the positively stakhanovite chickens.
